The Prayer of Jabez

A few months ago, I heard of this prayer and I didn't catch where in the Bible it was. So naturally I looked in the reference section for the name Jabez.... Nothing, I had looked in a few other sections and still..... nothing. After a few weeks I kind of forgot about this prayer and his story, but I did one night try to explain it to my dad hoping he would know where I could find it... but still nothing. One day my husband had the day off and I wanted to go to the Dollar Tree in Fullerton to get some craft stuff for Ryan, part of my endeavor to preschool him. As I was Looking at the book section(which was a mess) a little tan roseish colored book caught my eye. As I reached for it and picked it up, turned it over guess what????? The book was called "The Prayer of Jabez". I was soooo thrilled at God timing for me to find this treasure hidden in the messy book isle of a dollar store. I looked to see if there were any more so I could purchase as many as there were, but there was only 1 copy and God had saved it for me. I was so excited, I couldn't wait to get home and dive into this book with an amazing, life changing prayer. I couldn't believe I found such a treasure for a Dollar.. Amazing, Gods Grace! So I wont spoil the book for you, but I will share the fact that the book share line by line interpretation of the prayer it is Awesome! Also I found out that this prayer is in the LEAST read part of the Bible 1Chronicles.


Jabez Prayer

"Oh Lord Bless me indeed,
and enlarge my territory,
please be with me in all I do,
and keep me from trouble and pain!
(and God granted his request)

1 Chronicles 4:10
(but read 4:9-10)

It is said that this prayer as all prayers changes peoples lives. I have personally that when I pray this prayer, I can feel Gods hand with me and my family!

HE HEARS US!!

Fear not for I am with you, Be not dismayed for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

This scripture is awesome, it reminds me that no matter where I'm at or what I'm doing or going through, I will always praise His name and give thanks! A thousand times a day isn't enough for what my Heavenly Father did for me at Calvary, and what He has continued to do for me through out my life thus far. He has save my soul by giving me Salvation through His blood, and a promise of eternal life with Him in Heaven. I am Blessed to be a child of GOD!!

It's been a while since I have posted a Scripture, and last night after I was talking with my mom about the speech delay with ryan, and how he hasn't really made any progress since he has turned 3, And since my oldest has Aspbergers
a (form of Autism)there is a 10-15% chance Ryan could have a form of Autism as well since he is a boy. (it's more prevelent in boys)anyway I was feeling down and the Lord laid a Scripture on my heart. I was amazed and uplifted. I know the Lord is mighty and He is always with us, In Spirit and in Truth through his Word!! AMEN

This is a very thought provoking verse,this commandment
is saying you should always LOVE everyone and anyone as
Christ loves us. Sometimes that's hard to do, but we
must NEVER compromise what our Father instructs us to do.

I encourage you to examine who you don't apply this commandment
to and ask yourself why?

This is a personal scripture for me, My health hasn't been great for about the last 2years, while I have had many victories, I haven't won the battle yet. I know God always has a plan and purpose. All that we face ultimately glorifies Him as we use it for our testimony. So while I wait for Gods plan to unfold, I will seek Him diligently and praise Him all day everyday!!!
