Yesterday we all went down to Long Beach and went abored the Queen Mary. It was fun, the weather was nice and the kids got to spend some quality time with my parents and so did we. The kids really enjoyed learning about the ship and its war hisory as the Grey Ghost. Matthew couldn't resist telling Sarah it was a "HAUNTED" ship.......(Big Brothers UGH)
We always have fun with my parents and I cherish spending time with them. As an adult your relationship with your parents is so much stronger and you can finally relate to them. We were there for about 4 1/2 hours (most of the time lost)the only place we didn't go was the engine room (Sorry Dad). We ate lunch aboard at a deli, the price was reasonable(I Highly recommend it). The weather was wonderful and it was just a beautiful relaxing day(a lot of walking)Ryan got a little crabby towards the end(no nap)so finally we decided to leave. Matthew and Sarah felt what it might have been like to be on Titanic since almost all the boat is original. All in all it was a day memories are made of. I thank God for these treasured moments!
