On Saturday March 21,2009 we celebrated Sarahs 12th birthday. It seems like only yesterday we were driving her home from the hospital to meet anxiously waiting family members. But on this day I help my Little girl put on her new BIG girl jewelery and new glasses, It brought me back to her very first pair of glasses. They were pink with bugs bunny paws at the end of the arms that hooked to a band that went around her head to keep her glasses on (she was only 18 months old), not the cutest look for a chubby little girl but prescious to me. We spent the day at Camelot (fitting for a Princess) with her friends and family to honor this momentus occassion of becoming a tween. I sat across from her and felt so many emotions... Happy, Sad, Excited and A little LOST, My once so very dependant little girl is now a very independant young lady. Thankfully and Praise God she has her God given innocence that many girls her age seem to leave behind and trade for a more follow the crowd attitude. We are so Blessed to have such a Christ centered daughter, who has no interest in being like everyone else!! Thank you Lord Amen!!
