Spring Break

We decided this year for Easter we would go visit my in-laws in Kingman Arizona. The weather was iffy and the drive not so desirable for me, we rode with my parents in their BOUNCY motor home(umm enough said).They were staying in Havasu so we car pooled sort of. It was a weekend filled with spiritual tests for me, as well as personal tests. It amazes me how the Lord will use any and all opportunity to strengthen and stretch our faith. I had four days of what some might consider normal things going on, but in my heart and soul I know God was working on me and my ability to let go, and finally see who really is in control. I always know God is in control, even though sometimes I like to think I am or I can be if I wanted to... but the truth is NOPE, Hes got it all in His ever strong overly capable hands,(DUH) I am also reminded many times during the day how blessed I am with my children, I know all parents think and feel this way. But I must say it is something the Lord has laid on me in such a way, it feels like a ministry. I am so passionate about how blessed I am to have the children I do and to appreciate every moment I can with them. I didn't always see things this way(unfortunately)I am just so honored the Lord opened my eyes, so I will never again miss a moment or take one for granted. All in all we had fun in Arizona, Mike and I spent one night in Laughlin and had a nice time. We may even do it again next month God willing.
