Something to make us smile :)

No Doubt this has been a difficult season in our lives, 2 family members passing and 1 of my parents friends, I had my WLS, The family unit as I knew it doesn't seem to exist anymore. I barely know my brother and as for my sister well..... she so easily cuts family off, its like shes trimming fat. I feel as I grow closer to my Savior things get more difficult and it makes me sad. Not really sad for me but I guess sad that my brother, sister and other family members fall to the wayside and really ...to me seem to not care or put family in a place of importance. This is what bothers me. I teach my kids to put Christ first in all they do and that family is so important. Why does it feel I am the only one who feels this way in my family?(Aunts, uncles,cousins) But my parents are the 2 constant stable family in our lives and we are so blessed to have them, the kids just love them, and miss them when they aren't with them. My kids have 2 cousins (my sisters kids) that they see maybe once every 4-5 months and that hurts them, so it hurts me. Well on to something Happy! Ryan Michael March has turned 4! Monday the 15Th was his Birthday. He was so excited and proud to hold up 4 fingers instead of 3 and he will be starting preschool in the fall (YIPEE) We celebrated with Ryans favorite pizza(little cesers)Just the 5 of us. We even put candles on the pizza, then after eating he opened some presents that just brought joy to his little face. This is what makes me feel blessed, I get to see these things while others are missing out. So here are the few pics I took of us celebrating Ryan turning 4. Happy birthday Buddy!!
