OK anyone who is a mommy to a toddler knows 3 things actually 4
1. They like what they like and that's it!(Monkeys especially Curious George, My bra? and saying dinner prayers)(this also include watching the movie he is fascinated with at least 5-6 times in a row:)not that he watches it mind you; he just like to hear it?
2. They wear what they want to wear.(even If they have worn it 5 days in a row)
3. They want to explore and be helpful.(usually ending in a sea of toys from one end of the house to the other:)
4. They potty train when they want to and you can't bribe them, no way no how!
So this leads me to the picture below. Ryan (my Toddler)received a bright yellow pleather Fireman raincoat and hat from my mom over the weekend at my nieces party. Now this was very nice and Ryan loves it!!(too much)Well we were at the park for my nieces B-Day Party which was right next to a fire station, ( do you see where I'm going with this )Well a guest at the party said " Hey lets take him to the station to see the fire trucks" I figured OK he has the Bright Yellow rain coat and hat on already, so we can go and he'll be happy and we can slip back without being gone to long;)Well let me tell you, We entered the Huntington Beach Fire station and Ryan fell in LOVE. The Firemen loved his raincoat and called him "Little Chief" They let us in where the trucks were, They even gave him a stuffed Dalmatian Fire dog. Ryan just went nuts! He got to sit in the back and play with nobs and buttons and the scanner radio thing was on so he felt like a real Fireman. Then they pulled out the Ladders and Hoses and we just took a long walk around the station. Well it was time to go and we passed the place where they keep there jackets and hats, Ryan said look, look like 10 times, he realized that it was the same color as his, so in his little mind He was part of the H.B Fire Dept. Needless to say he didn't want to leave, he kicked and screamed all the way back to the party:) Well he hasn't taken off his "Fireman's" Rain coat since. Everyday for the last 4 days he gets up and puts it on, no matter how much he sweats. (at least I do get it off at night!!) so here are the pictures, I would show you all 4-5 of them for everyday but hey, they all are the same:)
Ryan and his trusty companions Sparky the fire dog and his BRIGHT Yellow Rain coat!!
