Hernia repair

Hello all, I pray God has been blessing you according to all your needs. I have not blogged in a while, I had hernia repair on 2/11/09. All went well, I just was a nervous wreck, But my friend and surgeon of 11 yrs did the surgery and I totally trust her, I am just a big baby. I went into surgery it lasted about 70 minutes and Donna the surgeon/ friend held my hand as I drifted off to the happy place. I woke up in recovery and OH MY GOSH, Can you say PAIN, worse than my emergency C-section with the infection. They gave me more pain meds injected into my IV but that didn't work so they gave me more, Then I was OK. I have been on the mend and my husband has been off work taking care of me everyday since. GOD BLESS HIM. He went back to work today and yes I missed him not for all that he did for me while I was hurting, but it reminded me of the man I love and feel in love with. Hopefully I will remember that the next time he leaves laundry in the dryer WET! I hope to back to my old active self in a few more restful days, but the Dr said at least 2 weeks. But we all know the power of prayer!!
