Opening my Eyes

All your children shall be taught by the Lord,
And great shall be the peace of your children.

Isaiah 54:13

Over the last few months as my walk with the Lord continues to grow.. I find myself soo very Blessed. In particular with my family especially my children. I am a stay at home mom and I didn't at first see Gods plan in the reason of me being home. God has opened my eyes further to see that my contribution as a parent to my (His) children is being here for them, listening to them, letting them know they can rely on me at anytime and talk to me, feel safe and secure.But my most important contribution in being home above all is teaching them about our Heavenly Father in Heaven! I have been doing this as lead by the Holy Spirit and there is a peace in our home. The enemy hates this and yes he(satan) has tried very hard to make every aspect of my calling from God just plain hard! There are days I just am like "OK Lord just get me through the day pleeese" and He does Amen! I have to say that on one income in this economy God has Blessed us beyond our needs, and the reason for that is we are doing His will and not our own. We could easily grip and complain that we want more of this or that but it all fails in comparison to what my children are learning about God and what He wants and expects from His Children. When Christ is the CENTER of your life... Things fall in place! Plain and simple you want for nothing. I have also learned that I have amazing Children all 3 of them. They each have their own unique personalities, likes and dislikes and dare I say OPINIONS. But we are all woven together by the fact that Jesus is the core of our family and he provides. I thank my Lord and savior everyday for my family and children he has given me. He is an amazing God who pours out His mercy and grace on us daily!! It makes me wonder why other people can't see the same honor in being home with their family and kids?
it is only recently I realize how fast my kids are growing and how much I still need to share with them, love them, just hold and appreciate them. I will Honor my Savior by teaching my kids to put Christ first in every aspect of there life. This is my gift, purpose and ministry!!
